Quantum ML Scientist
Rebecca obtained her B.Sc. con lode in physics from the University of Modena in 2018 while pursuing her studies in classical music at the conservatory of the same city. She spent the last year at Université Grenoble Alpes where she interned within the High-Resolution Powder Diffraction Beamline of the European Synchrotron.
She then moved to Paris and graduated from the double M.Sc. in DSBA focusing on topics such as Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning and NLP at Centrale Supelec and business and financial applications at the Essec campus in Singapore, along with the cohort of Global MBA students.
She spent the second half of 2019 doing an internship in the Atos quantum R&D group in Paris, which ended with a thesis on quantum variational circuits for machine learning in ideal and noisy settings.
She is interested in the intersection of quantum computing, machine learning, and reinforcement learning.
