Meet the passionate people that give life to Entropica Labs.
People are the raw energy of a Company. Entropicans are physicists, makers and problem solvers, who strive to create a culture where it is more important to get it right rather than being right. We organise regular discussions to present ideas, share knowledge and stay updated with the latest results in quantum computing. Our Idea Clubs provide opportunities for everyone in the Team to learn new skills, engage with one another and continue in our growth.

Leonardo Disilvestro
Technical Product Manager
In the previous decade, Leonardo has graduated as a theoretical physicist from the University of Edinburgh, managed to earn himself a PhD in quantum information theory from Telecom ParisTech, and has successfully learned how to code and be a programmer.
He is pretty pleased with the way things have turned so far, so he has decided to become a proper quantum scientist, and now he enjoys working at Entropica labs while busking in Singapore's tropical climate. In his free time, he likes to cook, walk his dog, and train for the next marathon.

Jing Yi Chan
Business and Operations Lead
Jing Yi Chan leads Business and Operations at Entropica Labs. She holds a physics degree from Imperial College London where her final year research was on direct and indirect detection methods on identifying dark matter candidates.
Jing Yi started her career with IBM and has held various roles in ASEAN markets working with government, industry, and academic partners. She has also led the Cognitive Solutions portfolio in Singapore and held responsibilities for leading discussions and partnership engagements as IBM Quantum Distinguished Ambassador.

Shahidee Nur
Quantum Developer
From designing websites to designing software, Shahidee's experience in the world of programming started from a young age. Driven by his curiosity, a willingness to hone his craft and a desire to turn his imagination into reality, he began to participate in hackathons and data science competitions during his freshman year in university.
After pursuing a degree in Physics at NUS, he joined Entropica Labs as a Quantum Developer focusing on Software Development and Design. His unwavering optimism and a great sense of humour make for a great personality to be around.

Vishal Sharma
Quantum Algorithms Scientist
Vishal graduated in Engineering and Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India and the Ludwig Maximilians Universität Munich, Germany respectively. At Entropica, he studies the physics of these machines and explores the benefits of having a lower level (and finer) control over the qubits. When not thinking about Quantum Computers, Vishal loves to learn about the origin and evolution of languages, human migration patterns and tracing common origins. He appreciates minimalism in design and art and practices the same in choices and ownership.

Adrien Vandenbroucque
Optimisation Scientist
Vandenbroucque | Optimisation Scientist
Adrien holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
His interests span a whole range of topics, including quantum computing, information theory and machine learning. He likes to spend time understanding the theory behind mathematical problems and implementing solutions to have a real-world impact. He likes to play the guitar (which he takes wherever he travels), do martial arts, photography, and read books in his free time.

Rajesh Mishra
Quantum Algorithms Scientist
Rajesh is currently completing a Master in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore. He has worked in areas of noise tomography in quantum hardware, quantum error correction at Singapore's Centre for Quantum Technologies and recently in numerical linear algebra as part of his Masters' thesis.
Away from his desk, he dreams of being a triathlete (however he revealed that, in reality, he still can't swim). He satisfies his passion for exploration (nature and food) using his running shoes and bicycle. Apart from sports, he enjoys travelling, reading books, watching stand-up comedy and chatting with people about their burning passions.

Shao Hen Chiew
Quantum Computing Scientist
Shao Hen is originally from Kuala Lumpur. He is completing a double masters in physics (with the National University of Singapore) and engineering (with MINES ParisTech), where his research is in the domain of quantum information and dynamics of many-body quantum systems. He is mainly interested in quantum dynamics and quantum computation. During his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading and rock climbing.

Meng Hua
Quantum Computing Scientist
Meng is completing her PhD in Physics at the University of Virginia. She also holds a bachelors from Sun Yat-sen University. Her research focuses on the interplay of topology and quantum mechanics, exploring the deep connection between abstract math and physics. She also worked on topological order with emergent particles, a concept that might eventually lead to fault-tolerant quantum computing.
Meng is a fan of deep tech and always trying to make the future become real (a vision we eagerly embrace at Entropica). She played basketball for her school in college. In her free time, she enjoys playing GO and piano.

Anita Durr
Optimisation Apprentice
Anita is doing a Master degree in theoretical computer sciences at the EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). She studied mathematics and physics during her multidisciplinary bachelor at PSL (University Paris Science et Lettres) and began to enjoy different aspects of computer sciences after attending the coding school 42. Quantum computing is one of her newest interest. She appreciates elegant solutions to difficult problems and seeks to learn more about quantum algorithms during her internship at Entropica Labs.
Anita is a huge escape game fan (she even designed one with friends) and likes to spend her time hiking in the mountains or tap dancing in her room.

Katharina Prantl
Business Strategist
Katharina is a Managment&Technology student and Manage&More scholar at the Technical University of Munich. She is specialising in Innovation&Entrepreneurship and Computer Science. In her own words, "working at the urge to solve societal needs motivates me to do the best I can". When Katharina is not studying (or working), she is very keen on sports, especially watersports.
